Bruce has two degrees from the University of St. Thomas—a BA in Economics/Political Science and an MBA with an emphasis on Finance. He also has decades of banking experience. A committed volunteer, Bruce has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including the American Lung Association, Eagan Hockey Association, Mendakota Golf Club, St. Paul Jaycees and St. Thomas Becket Church.
John is a native Minnesotan who is a graduate of St. Thomas Academy and the University of Notre Dame. He obtained an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. John has extensive banking experience, having spent over 30 years at community banks in the Twin Cities area.
With over 20 years of banking experience, Brian has been with Gateway Bank since its inception. During that time, he has proven himself to be a great leader and now runs Gateway Bank's Edina location which opened in 2017. He works hard to understand his clients needs, and help them get the financing to succeed. He has a graduate degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and specializes in professional practice, real estate, and Small Business Administration lending.
Laura is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with degrees in Political Science and History. She is an active member of Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women (MNCREW) and Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA). Laura is the recipient of the 2021Extraordinary Volunteer Leadership Award by the MHA. She began her career at Gateway Bank in 2006.
A graduate of the Minnesota Bankers Association Consumer Banking School, Cindy has more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry. She is a founding member of Women at the Top® and previous editor of Today’s Financial Women™. Cindy has held numerous leadership positions with Financial Women International and its Foundation for 15 years. She also serves as the Past Chair and board member of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce (DCR) and has chaired its WomEn's Leadership Forum for several years. In 2021, Cindy became the first woman business leader to be awarded the Legacy Award by the DCR.
Tom graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in Financial Management. He has worked as a community banker in the Twin Cities for over 30 years. Tom has also served on non-profit boards and volunteered with numerous organizations including Conflict Resolution Center, Edina Public Schools Kids Club Advisory Council, Uptown Association and South Hennepin Business Association. He has also coached Edina community youth hockey, soccer and the Edina High School mountain bike team.
Willie joined Gateway Bank in 2018 and has proven himself to be a hard worker with an enthusiastic attitude at our Edina branch. He has a degree in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from Washington University in St. Louis. His values align directly with the bank's core beliefs which are to provide outstanding client service and develop strong client relationships. Outside of Gateway, Willie is a Graduation Coach for at-risk high school students in Minneapolis through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and is actively involved in the local Washington University Alumni Admissions Program.
Shannon joined Gateway in 2019 and has been a great addition to the team. She holds herself to the highest integrity, values hard work, and is driven to help her clients succeed. Before joining Gateway, she worked in New Zealand as a loans officer and is a graduate of the University of Montana. Outside of Gateway, Shannon is a part of two co-ed soccer teams. She is also the recipient of the 2019 Gateway Bank Most Valuable Bowler award.
Erica joined the Gateway team in 2018, before that she gained experience at a local credit union. She values building relationships with clients and knowing them on a personal level. Erica has a strong work ethic and is a hard worker.
Outside of Gateway, Erica is a part of the American Association of Medical Assistants.
Luke was born in Iowa, raised in Wisconsin, and received his higher education degree in Minnesota. Luke received Cum Laude with a degree in Financial Management at the University of St. Thomas. He competed on the University of St. Thomas tennis team and is an avid competitor in all racquet sports, as well as a die -hard Packer and Notre Dame fan.
